Privacy Policy

Cede collects information you choose to provide when you create an account, submit a vehicle, upload supporting documents, communicate with staff, or complete a transaction review. The public vehicle-options form collects limited contact and vehicle information before an account is created.

That information may include contact details, vehicle information, financing and payoff information, payment status, identification documents, insurance documents, photos, and transaction records.

Cede uses submitted information to evaluate vehicle acquisition opportunities, verify information, communicate about a submission, prepare transaction documents, support compliance and closing, and operate or improve the service.

Public vehicle inquiries are visible to authorized Cede staff, not other visitors. Public inquiry information is used to respond to the specific request and is not permission for unrelated marketing texts or automated calls. Private submission records are protected by account permissions. Third-party services may be used for document signing, communications, analytics, scheduling, or other transaction functions when connected and authorized.

Applicants who use Cede Careers may provide a name, direct phone number, email address, state, work preferences, job history, qualifications, availability, compensation expectations, and a résumé or résumé link. Cede uses recruiting data for staffing review and applicant communications, and restricts these records to authorized recruiting administrators. Optional recruiting text-message consent is recorded separately from ordinary phone or email application consent.

Applicant records are not automatically shared with ME Living, COCAS, or other King & Co. businesses. Any cross-business recruiting referral should occur only with the applicant's separate permission. Records are retained in accordance with Cede's applicable legal obligations and retention procedures, and candidates can request review, correction, or deletion of their application information by contacting Cede, subject to applicable law.

Do not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, banking credentials or unrelated sensitive information with an initial job application. Privacy questions and applicant data requests can be raised through the Cede contact page.
